Jessica Ptomey is a Catholic (adult convert), wife, mom, writer, Communications scholar, and home educator. She blogs primarily  on her website, and she is also a regular contributor at CatholicMom.com and JoyInTruth.com. She writes about various topics relevant to living intentional lives of faith, communication, and education.

Jessica is a passionate Classical, Charlotte Mason home-educator; and she is thankful she gets to foster her wonder of the world alongside her children every day. She received my B.A. in Communications from Bryan College (Dayton, TN); and her M.A. in Journalism and Ph.D. in Communication Studies are both from Regent University (Virginia Beach, VA). She serves as an online adjunct professor of Communication at Liberty University.

Jessica’s ideal day would be one spent half with her book stack and half adventuring with the people she loves. She lives in the Maryland suburbs of DC with her husband and four kids.
