Bio

Fr. Robert Walsh is a priest in the Archdiocese of Washington, DC and was ordained in 2006.  He currently serves as the Catholic Chaplain at University of Maryland, College Park where his daily work with students at University of Maryland is always an adventure.

Fr. Walsh graduated from UMD in 1992 and worked for 10 years before entering seminary to study for ordination to the Catholic priesthood. Fr. Rob held several assignments before taking over as chaplain in 2010.

In his spare time enjoys the outdoors and is an avid fan of golf, hunting, fishing and attending UMD athletic events. He’s also a fan of the growing brewery business in the DC area and considers himself the unofficial chaplain to local breweries.
