• Deacon Jim reminded us that Jesus said to his disciples “It is easier for a CAMEL to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom” When the disciples asked Him then who can be saved, Jesus said “For human beings this is IMPOSSIBLE, but for God all things are POSSIBLE”.

• The first reading at Mass on the day we discussed this talk was from Genesis 17.  God said to ABRAHAM: I will give you a son by SARAH. Abraham fell face down and laughed as he said to himself, “Can a child be born to a man who is a 100 years old? Can Sarah give birth at 90?” In spite of being humanly impossible, Sarah did give birth to ISSAC.

• Finally, as we approach Easter, we recall Jesus’ DEATH on the cross only to be followed by His RESURRECTION three days later.  Again, an event seemingly impossible, but we need to remember all things are possible through God.
