January 13, 2025
Dear Ladies and Friends of TASTE,
ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
- THIS WEEK — We will resume our 18th season this week on January 16, 2025 with a talk by Msgr. Charles Pope. Invite a friend!
- IN PREP — Given that it has been a number of weeks since our last session, please take a moment to review the talk (through the video or written summary) and reflection questions. The video, written summary, reflection questions, and other related material from the talk prior to our Christmas break can be found HERE.
TASTE EVENTS
- LAST TALK — We welcomed back Mike Tenney for his 16th talk entitled "Never Hunger, Never Thirst." His talk focused on Eucharistic devotion and he began his talk by describing a typical morning in the Tenney household which can be simply summarized as insanely busy, frenetic, and filled with lots of “shoulds” and “gottas” and not enough time to get to the “wants.” And this typical busy day doesn't even begin to address all the additional things that are part of our lives – the hardships, real challenges and pains of life – physical difficulties, mental/emotional difficulties, relationship difficulties, the challenge of hard people to love, and sometimes the challenge of being the hard one to love! ... MORE.
- NEW TALK — This week, we welcome back Msgr. Charles Pope as he gives a talk entitled "Behold I Make All Things New."
- THIS WEEK'S DISCUSSION — We will discuss Mike Tenney's talk entitled "Never Hunger, Never Thirst." The audio, video, reflection questions and other related material can be found HERE. The Zoom small group meets on the following Tuesday morning. Details on how to join can be found in a link at the bottom of this message.
