Jul 29, 2022

Dear Ladies and Friends of TASTE,
  • We hope that you and your families have been able to enjoy some time off for rest and relaxation so far this summer. Before you know it, September will be here! We have some important information to share with you.
  • PLANS - Our spiritual director, Fr. Swink, will kick-off our year on September 29th.  We will continue to meet in the Pallotti Chapel after the 9:00 am Mass on Thursdays. The speaker line-up for this upcoming semester is taking shape.  See this LINK for a preview.
  • THEME - The theme for our upcoming 2022/2023 year is Abide in Me and the associated scripture verse: "Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me and I in him.”  ~ John 6:56.  This theme was selected to align with our Church's 3-year Eucharistic Revival which started on the Feast of Corpus Christi (June 16, 2022).
  • REGISTRATION - To help us plan for this upcoming semester, please register using this LINK. Visit TASTEprogram.com to discover this year's theme and other information.
  • INVITE A FRIEND - We encourage you to invite a friend regardless of where they are on their faith journey.  If they are interested, please also encourage them to register.  Attached is a POSTCARD that you can text, email, or print as an invitation to others.
  • CHILDCARE - We would like to offer child care for moms to be able to attend TASTE and have begun investigating options, logistics, and resources.  As you can imagine, we need to get an estimate of how many children and their ages.  To this end, we are surveying the need for childcare. Please respond letting us know whether you need childcare yourself, or would like to invite a new member who requires childcare. (Remember that infants who aren't walking are welcome to attend TASTE lectures with you)  SURVEY
  • PRAYERS - Please continue to pray for our TASTE program in general, and specifically for our speakers and our ability to provide childcare.
    • COLLEEN DUGGAN- We received a beautiful thank you note to TASTE from one of our speakers, Colleen Duggan.  It was so special that we wanted to share her heartfelt appreciation to all of you.  Colleen said... Oh my gosh, I just opened the prayer gift from the TASTE ladies. I’m so humbled, touched and feel so moved. The way you ladies have sustained my family is truly amazing. Thank you seems so inadequate. We are also so grateful for the gift card. We have felt a real invitation to celebrate with Caleb home and be together in a new way. The gift card will help us with this.  Will you please extend our thanks to all the TASTE ladies? We were able to go to Mass together on Divine Mercy Sunday for the second time as a family. My entire family thanks all of you ladies. I believe the prayer and support you have offered is a demonstration of the work of the Kingdom. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
    • KATHY DONNELLY - We also received a lovely thank you note to TASTE from one of our members, Kathy Donnelly.  Given that she addressed it to all of us, we wanted to share this with you too.  Kathy said...  To my dear faith filled friends -- the Women of TASTE, Thank you so much for your loving support and prayers and especially for the enrollment of our son, Andrew, in the Association of Marian Helpers. To John and I and all our family, we are thankful for this blessing and consolation. We know the love and mercy of our Lord and Savior, Jesus is being poured out on Andrew, as it is being poured out on us through His people-the Body of Christ. I miss you all, but know we are always connected in our faith! Thank you for your love and prayers. Know that I pray for all of you and hold you close in my heart.  In Christ, Kathy Donnelly
  • We so look forward to seeing each and every one of you soon!  Stay safe.
Joy, Michele, Karen, and Teresa
Jesus, I trust in You!
