Dear Ladies and Friends of TASTE,

  • We hope that everyone had a Happy and Blessed Easter! As you know, we are still on our Easter break and look forward to seeing everyone again next week, April 28th.

  • Just a short email this week to solicit two inputs from those who may not have yet had the opportunity to do so.
    • END OF YEAR POTLUCK BRUNCH — You recently received an invitation to our end of year potluck brunch on Thursday, May 12th immediately following the 9:00 am Mass downstairs in the Breen Room.  If you have not already done so, please fill out this very short RSVP SURVEY. We hope you can join us!
    • OUR LAST PRESENTATION — On May 5th, Fr. Larry Swink will answer any questions you have about our faith, what is happening in our world today, etc.!  In order to prepare, he asks that we submit all questions to him two weeks in advance.  Please send your questions to us within the next day or two as we are approaching this deadline to submit them to him.
  • Finally, as a reminder, this Sunday is Divine Mercy Sunday.  Jesus said to St. Faustina, "I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy (699)." So what are these graces?  Jesus said "I want to grant a complete pardon to the souls that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion on the Feast of My mercy (1109)."  To receive these graces, the only condition is to receive Holy Communion worthily on Divine Mercy Sunday (or the Vigil celebration) by making a good confession beforehand and staying in the state of grace and trusting in His Divine Mercy. The Shrine of St. Anthony is celebrating Divine Mercy Sunday: Shrine of St. Santhony Divine Mercy Sunday.
Blessings,
Joy, Michele, Carolyn, and Karen
Jesus, I trust in You!
