We hope this email finds you and your family well.  We have a few announcements and opportunities that we would like to share with you.

• As many of you know, Fr. Anthony will be transitioning from Pastor of St. Mary of the Mills to Vicar for Clergy for the Archdiocese of Washington. This is a wonderful opportunity for him and we will likely reap the rewards of his service in this new capacity! To that end, we would like to express our love for Fr. Anthony by sending him a Spiritual Bouquet and covering him in prayer.   If you are unfamiliar with the concept of a "spiritual bouquet," it is a collection of prayers presented together as if a bouquet of flowers.  Some prayers you might offer include: rosary, holy hour, your Mass intention, specific sacrifices or fasts, Divine Mercy chaplet or any other prayer.  If you want to participate, please reply to this email with the prayer(s) you intend to offer for Fr. Anthony.  We will collect them and present him with our TASTE spiritual bouquet.  Please send your prayers to Karen Giermek (karen.giermek@gmail.com) no later than Friday June 26^th.

• Fr. Larry Young, currently the pastor of Ascension Church in Bowie MD, has been assigned as the new pastor for St. Mary of the Mills.  Fr. Larry previously served at St. Mary of the Mills as parochial vicar and has been a speaker at TASTE.
• There is an opportunity for a Zoom small group to help prepare for Mass with a discussion of the readings for the upcoming Sunday.  TASTE sister, Laura Chighizola (laura.chighizola@gmail.com or 719-339-0168) would like to create a Zoom meeting space to prepare for Sunday Mass.  A flyer is attached.
• Most of the women of TASTE have some connection, it seems, to Fr. Dan Leary of Saint Andrew Apostle church.  He is about to embark on a new ministry, which he explains HERE
• Reach out to civil officials with the words of St. Anthony.  The Franciscans of the Renewal are requesting assistance with handwritten letters to public leaders. You do not need to compose, but rather transcribe the words of St. Anthony.  If interested in participating, contact Cristina Morris (C.Morris@hrs-ken.org) by Friday, June 26^th for details and instructions.
