outreach

The TASTE Program strives to reach outto others and spread God's love.Below are a few things we've done.

During our Lenten Fundraiser 2015 we raised funds for a Tanzania school. The Servants of the Lord help children in the school, provide lunch, (for some the only meal of the day), and provide medical care to the village.

January 6, 2013 Three Kings Day
Here's the library we donated to our new brothers
and sisters of St. Luke's in Bladensburg, MD.
They recently converted from being Anglican to becoming Catholic.
Welcome To Our Wonderful Catholic Church!

Here's their courageous pastor Fr. Mark Lewis with a
plaque we gave them. As you can see, hundreds of
books were donated or purchased from donations we received.
A business downsizing donated the bookshelves as well.

We had a healing Mass and hundreds came. These are
the vestments that Fr. Mike Wilson wore. The
wedding gown Giana Molla wore on her wedding day
was sewn into them. Her leather gloves were
touched to everyone who came.

Here's a priest (on right)...going off to war the following day
that is speaking to Deacon Jack Sullivan,
the man whose back was healed from a crippling spinal problem
through the intersession of Blessed John Henry Newman.
Deacon Jack spoke at a Healing Mass we had in 2010
and brought the only relic of Newman for all to touch.

These are a few things we've done to
reach out to the community.
Other opportunities have included:
*collected coats for the Hurricane Sandy victims

*raised money for an African children's library

*Raised money to help with the needs of the
Sisters of the Servants of the Lord

*collected money for the Tepeyac Center
and Centro Tepeyac pregnancy centers

*helped out a man who lost his legs in Africa
who consequently got the care he needed

*donated baskets to the St. Mary's Christmas Bazaar...

Most importantly we pray for our priests.

Please join us in building up the kingdom of God !
