Richard Cohen a husband and father of three is a noted psychotherapist. A recent convert to the Catholic Faith, he speaks all over the country about same sex attraction. Bill Donaghy (Don-a-hee) holds an Associates Degree in Visual Arts, a Bachelors in Philosophy and a Masters in Systematic Theology. He teaches theology at Malvern Preparatory School. Bill was given a simple cross by Pope John Paul II and called by the Holy Father to “bring Jesus back to your country.” He lives in Lansdowne, PA with his wife, Rebecca and young son. Kevin Seamus Hasson is a magna cum laude graduate of Notre Dame Law School. He also holds a Master’s degree in theology from Notre Dame and is the author of The Right To Be Wrong: Ending the Culture War Over Religion in America. He founded the Becket Fund in 1994 to help protect the religious liberties of all. Bill Keimig is the Director of Religious Education at St. Mary’s Parish in Clinton, Md. He is a master catechist for the Archdiocese of Washington and the Director of the Association for Catechumenal Ministry and managing editor for ACM Publications. He holds a Master’s Degree in Theology and Christian Ministry from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. Seen on EWTN, Bill is on fire for his faith. He and his wife Heather are the proud parents of four children. Bill will be teaching our Lenten Series on Vatican II. He brings his incredible knowledge of the Church breaking it down to make it understandable.
Fr. John Baptist Ku went to the University of Virginia and worked for AT&T before being called to the priesthood. He became a Dominican Priest in 1992 and will be receiving his doctorate in dogmatic Theology from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland in 2010. Father teaches at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington DC.
Fr. Dan Leary attended Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and was ordained to the priesthood in 1997. He is currently pastor of Jesus the Divine Word Parish in Huntington, Maryland. He has been giving retreats for many years now and is a sought after speaker. His devotion to the sacraments and his zeal for the Lord is contagious.
Fr. Francis Martin was ordained at St Joseph’s Abbey in 1956, and received his Licentiate in Sacred Theology from St. Thomas University in Rome and his Doctorate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute, also in Rome. Fr. Martin is a priest of the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. where he is chaplain of the Mother of God Community. He is Professor of New Testament at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C., and Senior Research Fellow at the John Paul II Cultural Center. Author of several books and many articles, Fr. Dr. Timothy O’Donnell was the first layman to receive a doctorate in ascetical and mystical theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum), in Rome. He is currently the President of the Christendom College and also a Professor of Theology & History at the college. In 2002 he was appointed by John Paul II to serve as a consultor to the Pontifical Council for the Family. He resides in Virginia with his wife Cathy and their 10 children.
Msgr. Robert Panke was ordained in 1996. After serving as associate pastor at St. Peter's in Olney, he became chaplain of the Newman Center at George Washington University. He is currently the director of priest vocations for the Archdioceses of Washington. In 2006 Msgr. was named a prelate of honor by Pope Benedict XVI.
Fr. Arne Panula a 1967 graduate of Harvard earned a doctorate in Theology from the University of Navarre in Pamplona, Spain. He was ordained in 1973 and served as the chaplain of The Heights School. He then went to California and ministered to high-school and college students. He was active in Opus Dei and carried out administrative duties for 10 years. He is currently the Spiritual Director of the Prelature of Opus Dei for the United States and is the director of the Catholic Information Center in Washington DC.
Fr. Collin Postin went to World Youth Day in 1993 as a Methodist and had a conversion experience. After converting he was called to the priesthood and was ordained in 2003. Father Collin has a passion for the Eucharist and many other Catholic truths that we cradle Catholics sometimes take for granted. He is currently administrator of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Fr. Steve Ryan was born in Boston and entered the novitiate of the Dominican Province of St. Joseph in 1987 after completing an M.A. in Biblical Studies at Providence College. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1993, received an S.T.L. in 1994, and a Ph.D. from Harvard in Hebrew Bible in 2001. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Sacred Scripture at the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies.
Fr. Larry Swink was ordained a priest in May 2006 for the Washington Diocese. The oldest of ten children, Father Swink is a dynamic speaker and will be with the TASTE Program not only as a speaker but as a frequent confessor. He is currently associate pastor at Pius X Catholic Church in Bowie, Maryland.
Msgr. Mike Wilson has been the Pastor of St. Mary of the Mills Parish since 2002. His enthusiasm is contagious at Mass and in his everyday life. The youngest of eight children, Father Mike is always ready to do whatever is needed to get the job done. A great supporter of the TASTE Program!
